Each club meets weekly and serves with a unique personality. You'll find members volunteering in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, and improve health. Always contact a club before attending to verify the details. Find the right club for you:

District 5190

Traveling the entire district is not for the faint of heart, but our leadership team visits every club, every year. Rotary District 5190 encompasses roughly 80,000 square miles - the California Mother Lode, Northeastern California, and the vast area of Northern Nevada.

What is Rotary?

What would it take to change the world? Rotary's 1.2 million members believe it starts with a commitment to Service Above Self.

“If any one tells you that it is reprehensible to make a dollar or two for the wife and babies from club associates in straightforward business transactions, tell that person that some foreign substance has gotten into his carburetor” - Paul P. Harris, January 1911

Most Improved Student Program. Annual awards are made to Most Improved Students chosen by each high school in the Washoe County area. We celebrate the year’s award winners at two Reno South Rotary meetings in April where students receive scholarships and invite their counselors and family.

After a speech contest an additional students receive larger scholarships at and annual fund raiser in June. For the last several years we have provided scholarships to these students, plus awards to recognize counselors and parents.
